shirts

so i have lots of rancid shirts and they are all guys larges.
i'm not a large guy.
so they don't fit all that great.

SO I CUT 'EM!!!

that's right, i cut them up. literally, up the sides and some of the arm pit off, then i sewed them back smaller.
it was a great success.
now i have rancid shirts that fit. :D
i also did a flogging molly shirt and a dbt one.
i want cut the neck and sleeves of the dbt one.
maybe i'll do that in a bit.



well, in a bit means right this fucking second apparently, so hang on...
oh yeah.
WAY better
mind you, i could have measured and all that bs, but nope.

i solemnly swear...

for the "Macro Challenge" on craftster.org

ok, so on craftster.org they are having a macro photo challenge.

i really have been crafty, i swear...

i've been doing all kinds of stuff, and so much so, i haven't had the chance to take the photos and post them.

here's a grocery bag i just did in honor of Earth Day (apr 22)

i lined it with just some unbleached muslin

the handles are satin ribbon

its kind of trapezoid shaped

and appropriately enough, some pepsi on the inside ;)

some earrings

these aren't way fancy, but i think they will go with anything.

simple glass beads with a little pearl finish.

instead of doing the usual wire wrapped top, i did a spiral instead. it is secure because the loop from the ear wire is through 2 layers of the spiral.
if that makes sense to anyone. :P

the metal is silver plate.

so a craft a day huh?
i've got this.

the thing is, i just moved, and have all these craft supplies that "i couldn't live without" so i brought them with me. to warrant my bringing them, i have decided to, oh i don't know, use them.

365 craft was born.

i hope to do crafts everyday, but if i miss a day or two, you'll understand right?
i am also a potter, so i have 365 clay too.

i'm off for now, to craft of course!
